03/19/2020, Noon to 1:00 PM

Webinar map

Description:

Join us for this webinar made possible by MBGH's membership in the National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions.

This webinar will examine two different case studies where a Total Person Health approach is being applied through integrative healthcare strategies and programs.

The first will be introduced by Bill Dinger, who has been forging Total Wellbeing Benefits design for the Walt Disney Company. He will share about their journey that started five years ago with the company's first onsite clinic. From this start-point onward, Disney has been at the forefront of integrative health leadership.

The second example will be covered by PCORI-funded UMPC Researcher Eva Szigethy, who will present the highlights of an ongoing study focused on a new innovative care model driven by a Total Person Health approach specifically developed for patients suffering from IBD.  Due to their early successes of improved outcomes and other wellbeing metrics, they are already expanding this model to address other health disorders.

By comparing these different, yet parallel examples, focused on integrative care practices, we believe these case studies will demonstrate how a Total Person Health approach can lead to meaningful benefits for employers to consider in their healthcare planning and policies, including improved health outcomes for their workforce and higher value healthcare overall.
