I know that there are stories all over the country just like this one. I wonder why we as purchasers and patients allow the system to work this way? There are many examples of a broken system in this story and I have highlighted a few of them. I imagine I left some out so feel free to chime in with more that you notice. MBGH Awarded Grant to Expand National Diabetes Prevention Program in Tennessee

Giving Cost Info to Providers May Not Change Ordering Habits

Trust for America's Health Calls for Worksite Wellness Programs for ALL Workers

Workers Recognize Rewards of Workplace Wellness Programs
