Solutions
Developing and implementing cost-effective benefit and
wellness programs that positively impact your employees and your bottom line
does not have to be overwhelming. We provide turn-key solutions to simplify the
process. Solutions include:
Culture of Health Program
This program provides members complimentary, customized support in
creating a worksite environment to promote and support employee health and
healthy lifestyle choices. Member support includes comprehensive, hands-on
assistance with program development, sourcing (experienced vendor evaluation)
and early-stage implementation of a wellness strategy. MBGH serves as an extra
pair of hand by providing:
- An easy
to complete Worksite Health Assessment that helps you identify the steps you
need to take in implementing a culture of health
- A roadmap
for establishing an evidence-based wellness program within your organization
that saves you time and energy
- Access to
best practices and assistance in developing a wellness program that is easy to
execute and sustain over time.
Employee Assistance Program with
group purchase arrangement with Concern EAP
MBGH
members benefit from MBGH contract negations, oversight and a significant
discount off normal EAP fees. Concern EAP, part of the Baptist Memorial Health
Care Corporation, links with a national network of EAPs to provide access for
MBGH members that have employees throughout the United States. Concern offers
face-to-face as well as telephonic services; provides management training;
comes onsite to respond to worksite events.
Behavioral Health provider network
MBGH’s behavioral health network can complement the member’s existing network
or serve as a carved-out specialty network for the Memphis area. The network is
an “any willing provider network” which results in a large network for
employees to select the provider that works best for them. To be in the
network, providers agree to MBGH pricing and general service requirements. The
network includes inpatient, outpatient intensive, alcohol & drug abuse,
clinical social workers, psychiatrists, and psychologists.
Vaccine program through Methodist
Healthcare
MBGH works with our members to purchase and schedule seasonal, H1N1 and adult
preventive (such as pneumonia) vaccines. MBGH works directly with Methodist
Healthcare to ensure that our members receive an adequate and timely supply of
these critical vaccines. If needed, MBGH can arrange for vaccines through
alternate sources.
Health fair planning & implementation
Health fairs can serve as a vehicle to introduce worksite wellness & health
promotion initiatives and to focus employees on their own health through
completion of health risk assessments and feedback. MBGH is available to help
our members plan, organize and implement their health fairs. We can identify,
recruit & schedule exhibitors, evaluate space requirements, and arrange for
exhibit rentals. In addition, MBGH staff is available to help employer members
review their aggregated health risk assessment feedback reports and identify
on-going health promotion & wellness activities as well as health benefit
design changes to support a healthier workforce
